The royal expert, who has a Persian mother, added of his experiences at the palace as a mixed-race man: “I would not say racist, but I only experienced prejudice. I am a mixed race. “There aren’t a lot of mixed-race royal representatives out there.”
However, he was shocked when an unidentified senior aide told him that he “finds it really weird” that he speaks and that he is of mixed race. “And I’m used to ‘where are you from, where are you really from’ and all that stuff, but it was a very full comment – and I’m sure it didn’t come from a dirty place, but it It only shows the level of ignorance in some quarters of the organization, ”he explained.
Scooby said that because of his experiences, he was not surprised that Meghan treated the palace unfairly. However, he was even surprised when he revealed to Winfrey that an unknown senior royal was discussing the skin color of his unborn child.
“I think it mentions a family member, it was the moment when I, too, had my jaw on the floor – just like the opera, it was the same reaction,” he said.
