After the masked thugs broke into the Glasgow garage, the crew became ‘terrified’.

Earlier this morning, masked thugs stormed a Glasgow garage, leaving London staff “terrified”.

Employees of the Eso branch on Balmore Road were threatened by two criminals before they fled with three pieces of cash.

The raid, which took place at midnight, also found a large number of cigarettes stolen from the premises.

The thieves were seen heading towards Ashgal Road.

The first man is described as white, about 30 years old, of average height and heavy. He was wearing a light gray hooded top with a blue logo, a dark gray Nike jog, a black trainer, a black escape hat, black gloves and a black face mask.

The other man is called white, he is also about 30 years old and of average height and thin build. He was wearing a black rain jacket, a red and white vertical stripe on his leg under a black track suit and a blue and white face mask.

Detective Constable Fiona McKenzie said: “Fortunately no one was injured, but it was a terrible experience that scared a crew member to safety.

“I am appealing to all those who have been in the area before and after this incident to get in touch.
