A young woman who had gone out to celebrate her 21st birthday was hospitalized after being severely beaten by a stranger.
Early Sunday morning, while Tyson Fury and Donte Wilder were watching a boxing match on television, the woman was celebrating in a casino in Bromlau.
She was passing by a table of men, who did not know her, when one of them kicked her in the ankle, causing her to fall, at about 3.30 am.
He was taken to Queen Elizabeth University Hospital where he was treated for a double fracture in his ankle and later released.
The suspect is described as a white Scottish, between the ages of 25 and 30, about 66 feet tall, with short, dark brown hair. He was wearing light blue jeans, a black T-shirt, a red jacket and dark shoes.
Detective Constable Graham Nicholson of Glasgow City Center CID said: “It was a completely unprovoked attack on the victim, who went out to celebrate her 21st birthday.
“As a result of this horrific process, he has been left with a serious broken ankle that will require major physio and outpatient appointments.
Tyson Fury and Donte Wilder were involved in the casino case because of the boxing match, and it is important that we talk to any witnesses so that the person responsible can be traced and held accountable.
