A teenage girl collides with police while blocking a road near Glasgow

A teenage girl was hit by a car in Paisley.

Police have cordoned off Arkleston Road following the incident, involving a 16-year-old man, at 1:15 p.m.

Officials say the driver of the vehicle stopped at the scene and an investigation has been launched.

Emergency services are still available.

A policeman Scotland The spokesman said: “We were informed of a collision between a car and a 16-year-old female pedestrian, which occurred shortly after 1:15 pm on Friday, October 1, on Arkleston Road in Paisley.

“Emergency services are on the scene and the road is closed.

The vehicle was stopped at the scene and inquiries are being made about the complete situation.
