An 18-year-old man suffered “serious injuries” after an attack near Buchanan Street at about 10.20am.

Detective Constable Matthew McCain of the Greater Glasgow CID said: “It was a violent attack that left the victim severely injured.
“At the time of this incident, we know that Buchanan Street was very busy with members of the public, so we’re asking everyone in the area and anyone who has seen it to come forward.”
