With Rwandan soldiers fighting the world in Mozambique

Rwanda was the first African country to send troops to help Mozambique’s army fight jihadists in the northern Cabo Delgado region. Since 2017, al-Shabab fighters have been affiliated with the Islamic State group, which has killed thousands of civilians and displaced hundreds of thousands. Our correspondent Simon Wohlfert patrolled with Rwandan troops.
