Dear Daddy: My husband and I are hoping to take our children on vacation abroad for the first time in the middle of this October, but I am afraid of flying.
The kids are so excited and so is my husband. We’ve been together for eight years and we’ve never been on vacation abroad.
I am 32 years old, my husband is 36 and we have seven and five children.
When I was a teenager, I was on a flight back from Spain when there was a commotion. It scared me.
My husband has no idea about my phobia but I am more worried now.
I don’t want my fear to affect children.
