The analysis found that one in 10 malfunctioning policies did not cover drivers.
Some 89% of the UK’s default policies, analyzed by the Financial Information Business Defective, will cover consumers who have run out of fuel.
Brian Brown, a consumer finance expert at DeFacto, said: “With the current fuel crisis across the country, it’s harder to get your car up and running.
“Inevitably, we may see more people running out of fuel while driving. If this happens to you, and you have a breakdown, your provider will take you to the gas station to help you.” can do.
