According to Italian journalist Niccolولو Shera, Onana has decided to release Ajax for free next summer.

The keeper – who has attracted the interest of several European clubs, including Arsenal – has ruled out an extension.

And the cash-strapped Inter have decided to take the first step for the goalkeeper, offering Cameron International a four-year deal.

According to reports, Inter Milan is looking at Arsenal’s No. 1 brand Leno.

According to the Italian outlet Totosport, the cash-strapped Serie A Champions will target a cheaper alternative in the next transfer window.

Leno, 29, is in the final year of his contract, which means Inter could negotiate a deal before January 2022.

Arsenal’s technical director Edu has defended spending this summer, highlighting the age of the players he bought.

The Gunners are looking to build a team for the future, and have bought six players 23 or younger this summer.

He told Sky Sports: “Instead of looking at the money around us, we have to look at the broader context.

“We signed six players under the age of 23, which means a lot more than we planned.

“It’s a lot, almost a revolution. But how are you going to fill those 21 holes? You need time, you can’t come in and do it right away.

“They (the new recruits) are young but we have five senior players in the team and around the top five in the first 11 we have very good, talented players that we believe in.

Martin Odigard has claimed that he decided to rejoin Arsenal because he wanted stability.

The club returned after a loan spell with midfielder Gunners last season.

Speaking on international duty, the Norwegian star said: “I am very happy to be back at Arsenal. I have loved him since the first day in January.

“I wanted stability. I wanted to settle down with a lot of good players who want to put the club back on top with a good manager.

“That’s why I think Arsenal are perfect for me.”
