The woman was rushed to hospital in critical condition after her car hit a tree near Falkirk.

A woman was seriously injured when she hit a tree near Falkirk last night.

Emergency crews were called to the A833 Southbound near the check bar roundabout at Bonnie Bridge at about 11:12 a.m.

Police confirmed it was a car accident where the car hit a tree.

The driver was rushed to Fourth Valley Hospital in critical condition.

A Scotland Police spokesman said: “We received a report of a car accident at the A833 Southbound, a checkpoint roundabout, near Bonnie Bridge, on Saturday, August 28, 2021, at around 20.20.20pm. It hit a tree.

The female driver was taken to Fourth Valley Royal Hospital in critical condition.

At 3:20 pm yesterday, two vehicles collided near Los, Argyle and Bute.

A 77-year-old woman was rushed to Queen Elizabeth University Hospital in Glasgow with serious injuries.

The condition of a 76-year-old man is critical after Paisley was taken to the Royal Alexandra Hospital.

A 51-year-old man was also injured in the same hospital.
