A T-REX The size of a hen is thought to be the oldest ancestor of the animal.
The pack-catching “T-packs” are named Pendrag Millionaire, meaning Chief Dragon, because little crazy people roamed Wales 215 million years ago.
It was one of the earliest theropods وہ a group that later became terrifying giant carnivores.
And it bears a striking resemblance to its legendary cousin Tyrannosaurus rex, which formed 150 million years later.
Dino was identified by Dr. Stephen Speckman of the Natural History Museum in London.
He said: “It was a terrifying little animal – lively, fast and the biggest predator of its time. We can clearly see that it was a carnivore and an active predator.
“It has many similarities to the great carnivores that evolved from it during the Jurassic period. This is at the very beginning of the evolution of all the famous carnivorous dinosaurs, including T-Rex, Velociraptor and Spinosaurus.
“If you had to face any of them, it probably wouldn’t be more dangerous. But you wouldn’t want to face their whole pack.
The main food of the creatures was a common lizard called Twatara, which still lives in New Zealand today. Like other small meat eaters, they may have hunted in packs to bring down larger prey.
The dinosaur’s body was almost like a modern chicken, but it was 3 feet long, including its tail.
His fossilized bones were found in a Paint Wii Finan mine in Carmarthenshire in the 1950s. The hip and thigh bones and a portion of the spine were placed in three samples in the drawers of the Natural History Museum.
When T-Packs lived, Wales was an island.
At the time, there was only another hunter, the ancestor of modern crocodiles, but experts say there was no danger.
