A sex hunter who raped a young woman in his flat has been sentenced to five years in prison.
Ross Docherty attacked the victim at his home in Paisley, Renfrewshire, on August 6, 2018.
A 24-year-old man has been sentenced in Glasgow High Court today for earlier rape.
Lady Ray told him: “You have been sentenced to a very serious charge because you took advantage of a young woman who was intoxicated and could not give proper consent to have sex.”
Three other people – including a 52-year-old – had once raped the same victim with Docherty.
One died before the trial and the other two were acquitted.
Docherty’s lawyer, Paul Nelson, said today: “He considers himself a victim of exploitation.”
Docherty – who denied the allegations – was also listed as a sex offender.
