The POP-UP event will feature a handful of the best small independent businesses Glasgow has to offer this weekend.
The Pop Up Spot Collective will take place this week on the newly renovated Box Hub Vanilla on Washington Street.
The one-day event will feature businesses such as Deer Green Place Limited, Olivia Taylor Design, BAE Fit, Daniel Dixon and Hindth Monkey Bakery.
Launched last year, PopupSpot’s focus is on providing a platform for local businesses to reach their full potential.
It offers short-term, flexible space to suit all different types of popups, helping businesses explore seasonal or permanent locations or explore new locations.
Juan Robertson, founder of Popup Spot, said: “Getting things started in 2020 was challenging for obvious reasons and there were many obstacles to overcome.
“But I like working with a lot of passionate and creative small business owners.”
Over the past year, the company has established 12 locations and more than 20 pop-ups in Glasgow, working with independent businesses such as Full Circle Backs, Glasgow Plant Mama and Potsfur Scots.
It has given business owners the opportunity to build their own shop and bring a sense of community and face-to-face customer interaction after a very difficult year.
The first Popup Spot Collective will be held on Saturday, September 4 and will raise funds for the Glasgow charity Refugee.
