The great British back-off contestant George Arstedo was taken to a paramedic after cutting his finger with a knife.
Comedian Joe Brand Reveals What Happened After Tonight’s Channel 4 Show Backup: An Extra Slice
This evening Joe was joined by regulars Tom Allen, Isling B, Martin Camp, Mellon Odom and the latest exiled Rochika.
Unseen footage of Bradweek was also shown tonight, including a comedy clip of 34-year-old joint life coordinator George avoiding a hospital trip.
Joe told the audience: “George is actually the winner of one of the Extra Slice Awards in the unseen footage I saw lying in the tent.
“Yeah, that’s our hypochondriac of the week!”
In the clip, Baker is seen drawing a funny face when he cuts himself with a sharp knife during a challenge.
When he ran to judge Paul Hollywood, he shouted: “I can’t see, it was bad!”
When Paul told him to go and apply the plaster, he finally dared to look at his injury and realized that it was not as bad as he thought.
He shouted: “Not even bleeding!”
As Paul nodded, an embarrassed George said: “Sorry guys … he must have hit my nail!”
But paramedics arrived on the scene a short time later and were strangely told they were not needed.
Paul said to them: “That’s right Logo, there’s no sign!”
George laughed and said: “I’m just a drama queen. I’m fine.”
The incident did not affect her baking and she managed to save another week on the show.
Competitors had to make Fukakia for the signature challenge, 12 Sebata bread sticks for the technician and milk bread for the show stopper.
But unfortunately Rochika did not do enough to impress the judges.
After his poor performance, he admitted that he was “disappointed”.
He admitted: “I was disappointed that I didn’t do it in practice sessions.
“I guess it’s just the way this day goes, even though I pulled them very well in practice, but it didn’t work in the original tent either.”
