A man was taken to hospital in Perth this afternoon after being hit by a lorry.
Emergency crews stormed Straitmore Street on Isla Road in the city at 12.30pm.
Police received a report of a pedestrian colliding with a lorry on the road.
He was taken to Nine Wells Hospital.
His condition is not yet known.
A Scotland Police spokesman said: “At around 12.30pm on Saturday, September 4, officers were called to a report of a collision with a man’s truck on Strathmore Street on Isla Road in Perth.
“The pedestrian has been taken to Nine Wells Hospital.”
Elsewhere One person died after a terrible accident with a lorry. Police closed a Midlothen Road for six hours.
Mercy crews rushed to the scene on B7007 Innerleithen Road, Gorebridge, at around 3.30pm yesterday.
Police were called to the scene, which included a white Scania Tipper HGV and a black Ibiza.
But the 52-year-old driver of the car was pronounced dead at the scene.
