A man was stabbed and taken to hospital with a ‘severe leg injury’ in Inverness when police cordoned off the house.
After being informed of the incident, the police rushed to Rozhag Road, Inverness at around 1.555 this morning.
The 36-year-old man was taken by doctors to a nearby hospital for treatment after being attacked by a blade.
A Scotland Police spokesman said: “We were called on Monday 27 September at around 1.555 pm to report a serious attack on the Rosehaug Road area of Inverness.
A 36-year-old man was taken to hospital by the Scottish Ambulance Service with a serious leg injury.
The full situation is being questioned and additional officers have been deployed in the area.
“Anyone who can help is asked to contact officers via 101, referring to the 0245 incident on Monday, September 27, or to call the charity Crime Stoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.”
