A Scotland Police spokesman said: “We were called on Monday 27 September at around 1.555 pm to report a serious attack on the Rosehaug Road area of ​​Inverness.

A 36-year-old man was taken to hospital by the Scottish Ambulance Service with a serious leg injury.

The full situation is being questioned and additional officers have been deployed in the area.
