A man is fighting for his life when he was shot dead in a Glasgow residential street in a brutal murder bid.
We first reported how the 44-year-old victim was blown up last night on West Street, Milton.
He is in critical condition at a hospital, which police did not name.
Police are considering the shooting as an assassination attempt and are urging North Glasgow neighborhood residents to come forward with any information they have.
Raymond Brown, Superintendent of Detective Scotland’s Major Investigation Team and Senior Investigating Officer, said: Help.
“The inquiry is still in its infancy. Stage And we will ask someone who can help with our investigation to come forward and talk to the officers.
“The West Ray Street area is very residential and we’re sure there will be people who have seen something that could help our investigation. If you have any information, no matter how small. Please contact us as soon as possible. ”
Glasgow North Area Commander, Chief Inspector Alan McIntyre said: “We believe this is a targeted attack and I want to reassure members of the community that there is no threat to the wider public.
“There will be a growing number of police in the area and I would urge anyone who has seen anyone acting suspiciously or has any details of the incident to speak to an officer.”
The spies have set up an online portal to encourage members of the public to gather information.
