A Paraguayan football manager tells his girlfriend before he takes action over the weekend.
Celso Rafael Ayala offered Lilly Benitez a partnership with the help of his River Plate Asuncion players – but the day was tarnished as the Cheetahs lost 5-1 in the match against Gorani.
The cheetahs lined up their players on the pitch before the first whistle, the squad carrying letters that read, “Lily, marry me.”
He then waited with his daughters as his girlfriend was taken to the pitch.
And she immediately cried when she saw the question.
The 51-year-old River Plate Ascension boss then knelt down and raised all the important questions and his acceptance was captured by Tego sports cameras.
His troops congratulated him before he could quickly try to divert attention.
But the home side’s focus may still be on emotional engagement.

Cheetah played 53 times for his country between 1993 and 2003, and even spent the 1999-2000 season at La Liga side Atletico Madrid.
He also played 200 times in two spells for Argentina’s Side River Plate and won the famous Copa Libertadores trophy with them in 1996.
