The first bus was canceled in Glasgow on the second day amid a nationwide driver crisis.

The first bus has canceled services across the city for the second day in a row amid a nationwide shortage of drivers.

The company has urged passengers not to raise “any issues” about drivers operating other services.

The firm said: “Due to the current shortage of national drivers which is affecting all sectors, the following trips are not expected to run.

We apologize for any inconvenience. Please don’t raise any issue with our team who are at work and running our second trip – it’s not their fault. They, like everyone else, are working hard to make the service as good as possible.

Please keep checking back for updates, as some trips currently listed as canceled may be resumed at short notice. ”

Glasgow first told passengers it was hiring drivers but said it was difficult to say when the barriers would be lifted.
