One of the three DADBMW was crushed to death when an attempt was made to steal its catalytic converter.
Daniel Stephens, 25, suffered chest, face and neck injuries when Jack fell while holding the car.
He told a friend he could sell the converter for 500 and wanted to pay the court costs in cash.
BMW owner Russell Seldon found Mr Stephens driving to work at 6am.
He said: “I saw a pair of legs sticking out from under the car.
I shouted and pulled the man’s leg. . . There was no answer. “
Mr. Stephens, Blaineon, Turfin, was stiff and cold when police arrived.
The Ponty Pride Inquiry heard he died of crush asphyxia and was identified by tattoos and fingerprints.
