A child was taken to hospital this afternoon after falling at a busy junction in Greenwich.
The incident took place at the confluence of East Hamilton Street and Douglas Roy Road near James Watt Dock Marina.
Emergency services arrived at the scene around 3.50pm when the alarm went off.
Police confirmed that the child was taken by ambulance to Queen Elizabeth University Hospital in Glasgow for treatment.
The baby’s condition is not yet known.
Officers are present at the scene and local diversions have been made for traffic.
The Scottish Ambulance Service has been contacted for comment.
