Suggestions have been made for a new “mixed use development” for a former mall yard site in Glasgow.
Developed by Gate Living, the site of the former College Street Goods Yard is located on High Street. planning Housing Scheme Permission
However, the Blood to Rent operator feels that there is a strong case for revising the scheme, based on learning from epidemics, to create a more community-focused mixed-use development that would benefit residents, the local community and the economy.
Proposals for a new urban neighborhood include rental housing for student use and construction and student accommodation.
Residents are offered three-year tenancy protection, with flexible rental rates and access to extensive on-site facilities, such as a gym and workspace.
The projects also boast a range of accessible green spaces and public spaces, providing a combination of convenience and open spaces that will also be accessible to people outside of development.

Members of the public will be given the opportunity to ask questions and give feedback from the development team at an online consultation event on October 14 between 2pm and 8pm.
