Suffering from Sudanese oil thirst.

Oil production in Sudan’s western Kordofan state, one of the country’s largest oil reserves, has led to a serious health crisis. Due to a lack of environmental standards, local villagers have absorbed oil residues, especially water. There has been an increase in diseases, as well as abortions and birth defects. Locals have long been unaware of the dangers of oil production in Sudan, which is often done by Chinese companies. Mohammed Farhat of France 24 reports on the dark side of Sudan’s oil industry.
