Statement on the release of Orange Lodge following the death of a member during the Glasgow March.

The Orange Lodge has issued a statement following the death of a man during a march in Glasgow.

We had earlier reported that around 11 a.m., after the alarm went off, emergency services rushed to Tridston Street.

A 68-year-old man died at the scene.

A Scotland Police spokesman said: “At about 11:11 a.m. Saturday morning, a 68-year-old man fell ill on Tridston Street in Glasgow.

An ambulance arrived, but unfortunately the man was pronounced dead shortly afterwards. The death is not considered suspicious and a report will be sent to the PF.
