Two people suffered serious head injuries after an “unprovoked” attack last night in Glasgow’s city center.
The 23-year-old was attacked on Sunday, August 1, at around 12:20 pm on Sochi Hall Street.
He was approached by a group of three men who attacked him and inflicted severe head injuries. The men were taken to hospital for treatment.
All three men are described as teenagers or white men in their 20s.
One suspect is said to be of stock blood and was wearing a dark puffer jacket, while the other had dirty blonde hair and dark blue jeans and a white Palm Angels T-shirt.
A third suspect was said to be wearing a light jogger and a black T-shirt at the time of the attack.
Police are appealing for information about the incident, and are particularly keen to speak to a man who was pushed off a bench by two nearby suspects.
Detective Constable Andy Reid of the Glasgow City Center CID said: “It was an unprovoked attack on two young men who were enjoying a night out in the city center. The attack severely injured the victims.
“I urge the public to contact if they were in the area at the time of the incident and could have witnessed the attack, which was carried out by two suspects.”
Anyone with information is urged to contact the police at 101, citing the August 08, 2021, 0854 incident.
