Sarah Ferguson wrote to the Crown makers to shed light on their role

The fourth season of “Crown” created a huge scandal for the British royal family, with some MPs even accusing it of tarnishing the image of the kingdom. However, there is at least one royal who was very excited to see himself on the show.

Sarah Ferguson, the ex-wife of Prince Andrew, the second son of the Duchess of York and Queen Elizabeth II, was introduced to the show by actress Jessica Aquelina. The character made his debut in the fourth season when the series began to cover the adult lives of the king’s four children. Although Ferguson’s character had relatively little screen time, she appears briefly as she meets Prince Andrew and steps into royal life. Their marriage in 1986 was also included in the show.
