Prince William and Kate Middleton have significantly changed their approach to public engagement, in an attempt to prove that they are happy, and “not trapped” as Prince Harry’s claimants claim.
In all his interviews with Oprah Winfrey in March, Harry said he probably wouldn’t have relinquished his royal duties if it weren’t for his wife, Meghan, because he didn’t know he was “trapped.” He also said he believed his father and older brother, future heirs to the throne, were “stuck in the system” like the rest of his family, but “they can’t leave.”
According to royal biographer Duncan Larcombe, who wrote “Prince Harry: The Inside Story,” William and Kate are in a “charming attack” to refute Harry’s claims about their views on royal life. He said Close Magazine: “William and Kate have maintained an honorable silence but now they are letting their work speak.”
“It’s almost as if they’re sending a secret message to Harry and Meghan, ‘We’ll continue, we’re still here, we’re not backing down, we’re moving forward.’ It’s a message to Harry that life goes on with or without him.
In recent months, Cambridge has redesigned its Instagram account, launched a YouTube channel, and shared behind-the-scenes silly interactions. The couple also shared a personal video of themselves enjoying a day with their three children, seven Prince George, six, Princess Charlotte and three, Prince Louis.
When he reached the final of the European Championships at Wimbledon, he also brought George with him, where his gestures were presented to the dynamic royal fans of the Josh family. The Duke and Duchess also attended Wimbledon together earlier this month, where they were seen laughing and sharing jokes.
“William and Kate are definitely on the offensive right now – and it’s working,” Duncan said of their recent engagements. He claimed that there was no doubt that he took Harry’s allegations about William “trapped” in his character very seriously and that he was “determined to show it”, and that Noting that the Dutch in particular have appeared “all smiles” on Harry and Meghan’s recent engagements to show that they are “pleasant and entertaining”.
Royal expert Katie Nicole expressed similar sentiments, noting that Cambridge has “recently strengthened itself as a beloved nation with calm, dignity.”
“They have improved their game,” he added.
