Farzeen Alam, a Bangladeshi entrepreneur, laughed when she approached banks for loans to start her agribusinesses: Today, Oggro Dairy is helping to reduce unemployment, especially among marginalized youth.
Oggro Dairy is the first social enterprise dedicated to agriculture in Bangladesh. Established in 2007 by Mr. Alam, the enterprise works with farmers across the country, producing various agricultural products such as milk, potatoes, maize and orchids.
