A young man who died after leaving his car on the road has been named by police as Jay Morrison because friends paid tribute to the “very kind man” online.
The 19-year-old, from Beerhead, East Renfrewshire, died last Friday night on Nutshell Road in southwestern Glasgow. At 11.35am the Red Voxal was driving.
He was rushed to Queen Elizabeth University Hospital in critical condition after an accident near the junction with Leverin Bridge Road.
But he died early Saturday.
Friends paid tribute to the teens on Facebook, with a post: “I have never experienced such pain and suffering in my life. We love you more than you ever know.” Will. ”
Another wrote: “I still have no words. I will never be able to control that you are gone.”
“Our thoughts are with Mr Morrison’s family and friends at this difficult time,” said Sergeant Kenny Maloney of Scotland’s Glasgow Road Policing Unit.
“Our inquiries into the circumstances of the accident are ongoing and any information we have is requested to contact the police at 101 on Friday, September 17, 2021 with reference to incident number 4182.”
