Nicola Sturgeon will host one. Corona virus Briefing today amid rising cases in Scotland.
The Prime Minister is expected to join National Clinical Director Jason Leach at 12.15pm today.
This is the second briefing this week to deal with the sudden escalation.
Then comes. Scotland A new record was set in positive cases – about 5,000 were recorded in just one day.
And earlier this week, Ms. Sturgeon said she would not rule out re-imposing sanctions if matters continued to escalate.

Sturgeon said the sharp rise in infections was a “cause for concern.”
The recent rise in cases is attributed to the younger generation who have not yet received the vaccine.
Yesterday, Scotland recorded 14 deaths related to the corona virus, as well as 4,925 cases.
Figures published by the Scottish Government show that it takes the number of deaths on a daily basis – those who tested positive for the virus in the first 28 days – up to 8,099.
The daily test positivity rate was 11.5% – up from 11% the previous day.
A total of 426 people were hospitalized with the recently confirmed Cowed 19, an increase of 35 from the previous day, with 47 patients receiving intensive care – an increase of three.
As of Wednesday, 4,092,295 people had received the first dose of the Code 19 vaccine and 3,617,687 had received the second dose.
