Emerald’s Michelle Hardock is full of support messages after revealing the homosexuality she received online.
The actor – who plays Vanessa Woodfield in ITV Soap – shared horrific gay messages from the troll and dared to reveal his identity.
On Twitter, Michelle revealed the horrific comments that were posted on her Instagram account, which she called “D ** E” and “L ** Bow Bert”.
The soap star, who is openly gay, wrote along with a screenshot of the troll’s comments: “Come on, show us who you really are … I dare you!”
Michelle is married to Emerald producer Kate Brooks, and the couple gave birth to their first child in October 2020 – a baby named Edward.
Kate responded well to the troll and responded to Michelle’s tweet: “Hello ‘Michael’, the original prisoner cell block H has been calling since 1985 – he would really like his insult. Thank you.”
Michelle later posted on Twitter that she was thanked by fans for her supportive messages when she revealed the abuse.
“Overwhelmed by all your beautiful helper messages,” he posted against the backdrop of the rainbow color.
“I honestly don’t take it to heart, I like to highlight it every time.
“Thanks to everyone who took the time to message me, whether I knew you personally or not. I promise I will read them all.”
Vanessa is currently absent from Emerald Village, but actress Michelle recently teased her return to soap.
Responding to her co-star Dominic Burnett as Paddy Kirk, the actress joked that she was already worried about trying to learn her lines.
Dominic’s tweet features a meme showing a man trying to bring down the tide on the beach.
“My real representation is trying to keep the Emerald Script on my head after the holiday season,” he said.
“I’m already having nightmares,” said Michelle, who is clearly involved.
