Actor Martin Compston got his back with a savage tweet after a fan was killed at the end of the BBC dramas Line of Duty and Wiggle.
Fans said the two programs, which have kept fans on the edge this year, had “c ***” endings. He said: “So this is #Wegel and #Line ofDuty which had really bad results. Choose Martin Compston wisely for the next series. You don’t want to make it a hat trick.”

But Compston did not let the fan go to him and applauded with this savage response. The Greenwich-born actor said: “I know Dave Paul, I’ve made a *** of it. The biggest new drama of the year. The second biggest drama of the year. Agent for the sack.”
