OLE GUNNAR SOLSKJAER admits his 400 400m transfer has left him under pressure to give up the trophy.
The Manchester United boss has spent a fortune since taking charge in December 2018, including ون 135 million this summer on Judon Sanchez, Rafael Varane and Cristiano Ronaldo.
His former teammate Gary Newell said on Sky that it meant he just had to deliver and Solscar agreed.
The Norwegian said: “If he says we need to win the trophy this season or next season, because of the backing, I have to say yes, I have the backing.
“Development and action have worked well. I have to say that the support I have received, I think we are committed to this project.
“But we are in the business of results. We are here to win, we are here to get here and clearly we have improved and expectations have improved, with signatures and better performances.
“I’m here to win. Don’t think twice about it, and Gary knows that.”
“Pressure is a privilege. To work in this environment, you have to accept that pressure.

Solskir is under pressure to lose to opener Young Boys at Villarreal’s home in the second Champions League Group F game on Wednesday.
And the game is behind Saturday’s 1-0 defeat at the hands of Austin Villa in the Premier League.
Harry McGuire is out with a calf injury for three weeks. This means that the United captain will play his two most important matches this week against Villarreal and Everton.
They will also miss England’s World Cup qualifiers against Andorra and Hungary next month.
It is a big blow that the club and the country are losing their key central defender when he lost to Villa.
There could also be a double whammy with Luke Shaw after a skeptic for tonight who dropped him in the first half of the Villa game.
“Luke is here today so I’ll give him a chance to join. He didn’t train with the team,” said Solskir.

“Harry is more or less out. It doesn’t look good, it could take a few weeks.”
United will be without right-back Aaron Van Basaka on Wednesday after leaving for the Young Boys.
That would be a start for both Victor Lindelov and Diego Dalot, while Alex Tales would be ready if Shaw didn’t make it.
