Two people were rushed to hospital after an accident on a busy motorway yesterday.
Officers responded between M77 Southbound Junction One and Two after the alarm went off at about 3 p.m.
Police confirmed that the driver and passenger of a car were taken to hospital.
One lane was blocked while vehicles were moved to a difficult shoulder for maintenance.
A policeman Scotland The spokesman said: “We were called on Friday, October 8, at around 3 pm when three vehicles were reported to have crashed on junction one and two at M77 Southbound.
“One lane was blocked while the vehicle was moved on a difficult shoulder for rehabilitation. The driver and passenger of one vehicle have been taken to hospital.”
