Local Concert Artist Katie Releases Her Debut Single – Stay Alive – Concert Magazine

What did you first find in music?

Growing up I’ve always loved music, I’ll always blast it through the house! My older brother also performed in a local band and I sat down and thought I wanted to be on stage and perform for others.

Who inspired you to make music?

Music has always been like therapy for me. There is not a single person who has impressed me, there are many artists and my family. Seeing what music can really do for people (I’m one of them) made me make my own music.

How would you describe the music you usually create?

Mostly pop and current music that connects people. I write from positive and negative past experiences in the hope that others will relate to me in their own way.

Who would you like to collaborate with the most?

There are many but it has become James Arthur or Niall Horan.

If you could open a show for an artist, who would it be?

Opening up would be a dream for James Arthur! I think I can connect with the audience with my written melodies.

Where have you performed? What are your favorite and least favorite places? Do you have any upcoming shows?

In 2019 I started strolling in local bars and restaurants and the same year I performed at the Concert Festival, I liked it and hope to do it again with some original material. During this time I also went to Newcastle City Center to take a bus on Northumberland Street. I have to say that my favorite place was The Cave in Liverpool where I had the opportunity to sing ‘Someone Like You’. I will never forget that feeling! Any upcoming program or new song release will be announced on my social media. aitcaitiexmusic

What is your favorite song to perform?

Finished Lockdown, It has given me a lot of time to spend with writing my song and I hope to perform some of my original music soon. If we’re talking on the cover, I’d love to sing Adele!

Which famous musicians do you admire?

The list goes on and on, but there are a few names for James Arthur, The Script, Adele, Demi Lovato, Eli Golding.

What’s next for you

I’m excited to say that I have more real music coming up this year. I love writing and performing in the studio, so the plan is to see what happens!
