Police have charged Lee Griffiths following an incident in Dennis Park earlier this week.

Police have since confirmed that the footballer has been charged with “criminal and reckless conduct”.
A police spokesman said: “Police. Scotland May confirm that a 31-year-old man has been charged with felony and negligence after an incident in Dundee Park, Dundee on Wednesday, September 22nd.
A report will be submitted to Procurator Mali.
Video footage taken by a supporter and posted on social media shows Griffiths kicking a blue smoke bomb off the pitch and kicking distant spectators at a stand in Dennis Park.
Dundee issued a statement on the “tragic incident” which read: “After the opening ceremony, a smoker, among other things, was thrown into the park by supporters. The pyrotechnic ended at the back of the stand. Happened when Lee kicked him off the field.
Griffiths added: “It was sad that the pyrotechnic ended up back on the stand because my only goal was to get it off the pitch.
“After losing just one goal, I was anxious to restart the match as soon as possible and I apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused.”
