Lauren RNLI ‘helps jet skiers in trouble’

A post on Lauren RNLI Facebook page. Read: “Launching his relief offshore lifeboat, Arthur Hamilton, at 5:36 pm, volunteer crews arrived at the last reported location of the deaths where they learned the jet ski engine was in trouble.

“After setting up a two-line, the jet ski was towed to a safe harbor with a lifeboat.”

After the call, Lifeboat Helm, Willie Evans said: “It was okay for the injured to contact the Coast Guard when they realized they were in trouble. Call 112 and ask the Coast Guard. “
