Lauren caught at 71 mph on Harbor Highway ‘makes no stupid excuses’

Lawyer Liam McCandry was speaking in Balemina Magistrates’ Court on behalf of Gary Martin Gamble, 33, an education authority ground maintenance worker at Station Road.

The lawyer said the defendant had entered the area at only 40 miles per hour and had not adjusted his pace on June 4 this year and expressed “remorse”.

Giving four penalty points and a £ 250 fine, District Judge Nigel Broderick said the defendant could consider himself very lucky and warned that he could be banned if he was caught again at such speed.
