Jane Johnson has been named editor-in-chief of The Times and The Sunday Times, and will begin this summer.
Reporting to The Times Editor John Weatherrow and The Sunday Times Editor Emma Tucker, Jane will work with newsrooms as well as commercial and marketing teams to help audiences, traffic and digital revenue Times Travel. She will also develop other editorial and business plans.
Prior to that, she was the senior director of commercial content for the Telegraph. She has held senior editorial positions in several national newspapers, including deputy editor and associate editor. Jane has launched three national magazines and was the director of the TV channel Skylong, where she also oversees the entertainment division’s digital channels. ۔
