When severely cursed, it can end marriages – and bring together soul mates..
Strictly within the curse that caused Louise Redknapp to spend on her wedding; but Stacey Dolly was helped to find her partner.
Louis Redknapp, 46.
Pop star Louise’s marriage to 19-year-old footballer Jamie broke up several months after the tough 2016 final and they divorced in 2017.
There were rumors that the mother of two, who was close to her dance partner Kevin Clifton, played a role in the break-up – especially when her marriage to fellow dancer Karen Clifton broke up at the same time.
The two denied any romance, and wanted to follow each other on social media until 2019 and later confirmed that they no longer talk.
But the gossip at the time clearly caused a rift in her marriage, with Jamie being pushed back by fellow A-League of his own stars James Corden, Freddie Flintoff and Jack Whitehall.
Jamie is now expecting a baby with his new girlfriend Freda Anderson Lori, 37, while Louis is single.
“I still want to do things differently, because I think I’ve hurt a lot of people – and I’ll always be sorry for that,” says Lewis.
The Scots butcher made a delicious book fast BBQ pie when the punters asked for a boozy turn.
Susanna Reid, 50.
Like Lewis, GMB presenter Susanna was romantically rumored to have been paired with Kevin Clifton in the show’s Series 11 in 2013.
She denies calling it a “coincidence” rather than playing any role in ending her 16-year relationship with journalist Dominic Cotton, 54.
But the absence of his longtime partner in the ballroom was a major talking point in the series, and they parted ways two months after the show ended.
Kevin later admitted that he tried to avoid the steamy ramba during their partnership (perhaps to prevent it from adding fuel to the fire).
“Kevin and I came home like fire and weren’t strictly responsible for the breakup. I’m still a great friend to my ex and I’m a great friend to Kevin,” says Susanna. ۔
Sean Walsh, 35.
Who can forget the picture of comedian Sean snatching his dance partner Katia Jones (32) one night in October 2018?
The photo caused a stir – not least because Sean’s girlfriend, 33-year-old actress Rebecca Humphreys, had been publicly supporting him throughout the show and was taken on his birthday.
Katia, meanwhile, is married to 39-year-old hardliner Neil Jones.
Although the kiss did not reunite the couple, Sean’s relationship ended immediately, with his girlfriend famously posting on Insta: “My name is Rebecca Humphreys and I’m not a victim.” A year later, Katia and Neil separated.
“I made a mistake, for which I am very sorry,” says Sean.
“You never think about how much damage you’re going to do, in a moment, you know what you did wrong.”
Natasha Kaplinsky, 48.
We were all impressed by the chemistry between newsreader Natasha and her partner, 45-year-old Brendan Cole, during the show’s first series in 2004.
But while their undeniable relationship undoubtedly helped them win the Glitter Ball Trophy, it also meant that they were exposed to rumors of an affair, despite the fact that BBC presenter Natasha is 12 years old Consultant Mike Bernard, 51, and fellow dancer Camilla Delrope, 47, despite Brendan’s engagement.
The two announced their departure with their respective partners shortly after their victory, although the pair have always agreed on whether anything happened off the dance floor.
“There was chemistry, and I definitely fell in love with dancing, but I didn’t fall in love with Brandon,” says Natasha.
Stacey Dolly, 34, and Kevin Clifton, 38.
Documentary filmmaker Stacey may have been with her 31-year-old boyfriend, Sam Tuck Nut, for five years, but things went awry after they came close to Kevin Clifton (yes, he is again) during a 13-week partnership in the 2018 series. Look to the side, which they won.
Stacey and Sam timed their relationship in April 2019, with PT calling Kevin a “love rat” after he claimed to have discovered flirting messages between the two. Four months after picking up the glitter ball trophy, Stacey and Kevin confirmed their romance and have been living happily ever since.
“We ended the show, and we left. Kevin lived in London, I was in Brighton,” Stacey said.
“You know, we started seeing each other a few months after the show ended.
“Until then there was a wonderful foundation. We loved each other very much. There was respect – Kevin always respected me and I respected him.
Diane Buswell, 32, and Joe Sog, 29.
Diane and Joe were paired together during the show’s Series 16 in 2018, but when YouTuber, who was single at the time, was a long way from Diane Emerald star Anthony Coylon.
Just a few weeks later, Diane and Anthony, 36, left him, and the connection between Diane and Joe was undeniable.
Although they insist nothing happened during the contest, a month after Stacey and Kevin finished second, they formally reunited.
He has since moved out of London and bought a beautiful home in the countryside. Delights.
“Obviously you have a relationship with all of your tough partners, because you’re teaching them something new and they really trust you, but with Joe it was a very special relationship,” says Diane. ۔
“She is incredible and I have never met anyone like her.”
Joe Kalzge, 49, and Christina Rihanov, 43.
Former boxer Joe just started his tough journey in 2009 when he had a home life code.
Just a week after partnering with Christina, he broke up with his five-year-old model girlfriend, Emma Lauren, 42, and soon after began a relationship with his Russian dance partner.
They lived together for four years and even got married, but in August 2013 they parted ways due to conflicting schedules.
Christina admits that partnering with Jason Donovan, 53, in 2011 meant that she “neglected” her boyfriend because of work promises.
“I admit I ignored him during the series, but when my professional responsibility is on someone who prioritizes everything – he always did. He was helpful, but I know he felt lonely and left.
Ben Cohen, 42, and Christina Rihanov.
In 2013, months after splitting from Joe, Christina reunited with a partner – this time Rugby star Ben, despite her marriage to childhood sweetheart Abby, 42.
The two denied any romance, but Ben ended his 11-year marriage to the mother of his twin daughters, Harriet and 13-year-old Isabel, the following year.
He reunited with Christina and divorced Abby in March 2016 – two months after the new couple received their five-year-old daughter, Melina.
He now lives in a cramped pad in Northampton.
“Ben said it many times and I will say it again – I was not involved in the breakup of his marriage,” says Christina.
Flavia Cicas, 41, and Matt de Angelo, 34, and Jimmy Mystery, 48.
Pro Dancer Flavia’s harsh curse experiences can be the most disgusting.
In 2007, just two weeks after partnering with East End star Matt de Angelo, she ended her relationship with fellow dancer Vincent Simon, 42, with whom she had lived for 11 years.
She went public with the actor after the show’s finale, who was only 20 at the time.
Their relationship continued two years before their separation in 2010 – but in a shocking turn, Flavia confessed a few weeks later that she was dating her latest dance partner, actor Jimmy Mastry, after which she met in 2013. I got married.
“Dancing with Matt made my heart beat faster. Vincent blamed Matt for our breakup. But it’s not Matt’s fault. It’s my fault for falling in love with Vincent.”
Rachel Riley, 35, and Pasha Kolyev, 41.
Rachel, the countdown’s golden girl, still insists that her supporter Parsha was not the reason for her separation from her university sweetheart and 15-month-old husband Jamie Gilbert.
The pair broke up shortly after voting on the show in November 2013.
After months of speculation, Pasha and Rachel confirmed the status of their relationship in September 2014.
They have since formalized it after fleeing Las Vegas for an early marriage in June 2019, and six months later, daughter Maun was born, soon with another child.
Rachel says “[Strictly] Works as a magnifying glass that shows pre-existing fault lines.
