You can easily spend over £30 to feed your entire family, but there are ways to avoid paying full price.

Consumer goods expert Tom Church, co-founder of website LatestDeals, shared his seven tips for spending less at Pizza Hut.

Some of his hacks can save you money at the click of a button – here’s everything you need to know.

Subscribe to the newsletter – save 20%

Networks often offer customers exclusive free services and discounts if they sign up for their newsletter.

Pizza Hut is no exception – you will need to register on the chain’s website by adding a few personal details such as your email address and phone number.

Signing up can pay off, says Tom: “Because you’re on the insider list, you can get special offers like 241 Pizza, 20% off, and vouchers including Kids Eat Free.”

Download App – Free Pizza

You can get free pizza by downloading the free Pizza Hut app through the App Store or Google Play.

In the app, you will find a section called “Huts Rewards Scheme”.

You’ll earn one “slice” – or point – for every £10 you spend.

You can then trade in your slices for free food once you have enough.

What you can get for free depends on how many pieces you have accumulated.

You can get a free side if you accumulate five, and a free medium pizza if you accumulate seven.

But that means you have to spend £50 and £70 respectively before you get a free snack.

Some Key Workers Get 25% Meal Discount

Those who work in the NHS, emergency services, the welfare sector and the military may qualify for a Blue Light card.

Here you can get discounts in stores, networks, etc., because you are a key worker.

Pizza Hut is part of the scheme and all you need to do is register online for blue light map and paste your unique code into your order (or show it on your server) to get a 25% discount.

How to get two pizzas for the price of one

If you are a Compare the Market customer, you can use the Meerkat Meals app to get two for the price of one pizza.

If you have an insurance deal, credit card, or other deal with a price comparison site, you get an annual membership to Meerkat Meals, which offers two-for-one deals on meals at chains including Pizza Hut.

Download the Meerkat Meals app, which is free to download from Google Play or the App Store, to get an offer.

But you must spend at least £30 to qualify for the discount.

“So if you’re planning a family dinner, whether it’s an evening at home or dining out, you can save a lot by signing up for a great new broadband deal,” says Tom.

Discount Schemes – Save 50%

By using restaurant discount schemes, you can save up to 50% on your bill.

For example, with a Tastecard, you can get two meals for the price of one or 50% off a meal at a wide variety of pubs and restaurants across the country, including Pizza Hut.

Membership costs £34.99.

You must indicate that you have a Tastecard membership when booking a table with one of the participating networks.

Show your card when you arrive at the restaurant to receive money.

Look for discount codes – up to 50% off

If you order takeaway food online, always look for discount codes.

The Latest Deals website has pages for Pizza Hut Vouchers as well as delivery offersas well as HotUKDeals.

In some offers, you can get up to 50% off your order, but this will depend on which deal is currently running.
