As every mother knows, raising a child can be costly.
But a self-proclaimed “extremely cheap skate” has revealed that they go out of their way to keep costs down.
Apple, who lives in the United States with her husband and daughter Chloe, collects breast milk from her friends to save a thousand dollars (£ 730) a year.
The mother, who beats up everyone in her yoga class, says: “Suddenly I stopped making breast milk, so now I collect breast milk from my friends.”
The move stops her from spending cash on her baby’s milk.
TLC’s Xtreme looks at an old incident of cheap skates, which has been shared. On youtube“Having a baby made me more obsessed with saving money,” Apple admitted.
“People buy baby wipes and damp toilets, but I like to make them at home instead.
“I use them to clean with my hands and I’ll clean the kitchen table and counter. It’s still reusable, so I have to clean her (my daughter’s) tail. I will use a wipe. “
This measure saves her 50c (36p) per day, with an average of six nappy changes. And speaking of nappies, Apple got another ‘top tip’.
She tells the cameras: “A changing table is one of the most expensive things a new mother can buy.
“So instead of spending $ 200 (£ 145) on a changing table, I got my business for free at a gas station that was going out of business.”
Perhaps filming the audience’s thoughts at home, her husband tells the cameras: “I thought it was weird, things weren’t clean at the gas station.”
But Apple responded: “People use changing tables all the time, so why not use it?”
It also saves on app 327 ($ 450) nappies with this unique hack.
She says: “Why not use T-shirts to make reusable cloth diapers? You cut the sides and the sleeves, then fold the flaps and go there.”
We first introduced you to another very cheap skate, which hates spending money, has not done any laundry for three years and has never used toilet paper.
Meanwhile, instead of using the dump, the mother burns her trash and does all the housework after midnight.
