Pierce Morgan will not return to Brighton Good Morning as he plans to go ‘global’ with ‘big plans’
The former ITV show host made a sensational departure from Air in March after criticizing the Duchess of Sussex in an opera interview.
He celebrated on Wednesday when Offcom confirmed that he was in favor of giving his opinion about Meghan Markle.
Media Watchdog announced a landmark decision that cleared it this week, with some ITV staffers expecting it to return.
The hit show has seen his ratings drop since he left, leaving viewers missing him on screen back and forth with co-host Susanna Reid.
But sources claim that there are no current plans to bring him back. The 56-year-old presenter said he would not return.
Speaking to the Daily Mail, he said: “I posted that on social media and asked if I would take my job back so I could prove something.
“I will not go back, without a public apology, and I will not go.
“I have big things coming up. The future is exciting. The next project is global, it’s big.
“I can’t say but people are going to hear about it in the next few weeks.”
