The founder of a famous Glasgow brewery has resigned from the company’s daily operations.
West Brewery’s Petra Witzel will hand over the reins to the company’s sales director Matt Monroe from Wednesday. He will oversee WEST’s strategic, operational, sales and marketing operations.
Ms. Weitzl has been running the business for the past 13 years. He said: “After 13 years under the leadership of WEST, I have decided to run the beer hall and brewery business on a daily basis to allow me to devote more time to both core WEST business related and unconnected projects. Coins.

The West, like many businesses in the hospitality industry, has been hit hard by lockdown restrictions over the past 15 months.
