Glasgow hit and run: A woman ran out of a car in Shettlestown.

A 20-year-old woman was hit by a black Vauxhall Astra on Old Shettleston Road on Friday night, August 20, at about 9:00 p.m.

The vehicle in question failed to stop after hitting a young woman.

Emergency services were called to the scene and he was taken to hospital in critical condition, but not fatally.

Shuttleston Response Policing Police Constable Jack McQueen said: “The incident left a woman in hospital with serious injuries and we are appealing to the public to help identify those responsible.

“If you were in the area at the time of the incident and have any information that could help our investigation, please talk to the officers.

“I will also ask if there are any motorcycles that have dashcam footage of the area so that they can contact the police.”
