A loose 10FT dragon struck the sleeping village.
A motorcyclist saw him on the road before he climbed a tree in Connington, Kembang.
Firefighters cut a branch and it fell on a sheet in Cunningham, Connington.
RSPCA is now looking for its owner.
RSPCA Inspector Justin Stubbs, who attended the scene, said the snake appeared to be “cool and slightly light-weight” when it was rescued.
He said: “When I saw the snake in the branches, I knew it would be difficult to bring it down because it was so high.
“In my 25 years, I have rescued hundreds of animals from trees, including RSPCA – cats, birds, foxes – and I have been called many snakes.
“But I wasn’t expecting to see this amazing animal wrapped up in the branches of trees in the English countryside!”
Anyone with information on where this snake came from is requested to contact RSPCA on 0300 123 8018.
