According to sources close to the family, Matt Hancock has failed to apologize for cheating on his wife.
The Sun revealed that the infamous former health secretary had an affair with his aide Gina Coladangello.
Hancock, 43, and millionaire Gina, 42, were caught on camera in a steam-powered camera in their White Hall office.
The Conservative MP was forced to resign as health secretary when his steamy case came to light.
His wife, Martha, 44, was seen on holiday at Cornwall with her husband and three children earlier this month.
But now a close family friend has called him “a noble man”, claiming that his wife Martha was “crushed” by his infidelity.
She says she was “shattered” by the revelation and showed a “lack of concern” for herself and her children.
She has reportedly been suffering from covid for a long time, when she contracted the virus with her current husband.
A source said. TelegraphMartha is crushed by this, and Matt is only interested in his career and his mistress. He is a lowly person.
“She didn’t care about Martha or the children.
“He has been indifferent to Martha even though he has supported her throughout his career and introduced her to the people who made her career.
“She has always defended herself.
“Matt Hancock is a terrible man. He’s definitely not a gentleman.
“He keeps trying to suggest that everything is fine when everyone is broken.
“He has been horrible with Martha and has never apologized to her or the rest of her family.”
Martha was reportedly unaware of the affair until her affair came to light when Hancock told her that their 15-year marriage had ended.
This week Hancock was spotted with his former assistant on the way to the romantic Swiss Alps at the Valeras-Ro-Olon resort.
It is believed that this is the couple’s first romantic journey since their secret relationship was exposed.
Hancock is considering how to present his relationship with Koladangelo, and is considering a public exhibition of photographs together.
It comes just months after Hancock’s resignation, when his case with the adviser was exposed by The Sun.
Amid public outrage over violations of social distance laws, The Sun was forced to leave the cabinet in June after sharing a passionate kiss with Gina Coladangello after posting CCTV footage in May. ۔
Hancock moved out of the family home, while Ms. Koladangelo, who also has three children, separated from her husband, Oliver Trace.
Last month, the former health secretary photographed packing boxes, suitcases and bags in his car outside his family home.
Eyewitnesses said Martha was giving them supplies during a visit to their home.
