East Dunbartonshire. Council It plans to upgrade its three play parks and give residents a chance to vote for the winning design.
Specialist companies have proposed new designs for three parks in the area: Dwayne Crescent in Meadow Byrne North and Bush Burgers, and Woodhead Park in Kenteloch. Residents can go online and vote for their favorite design.
Joint Council Leader Van Moody said: “These popular parks have been identified for upgrading. To ensure that we are offering a high standard of quality and selection, we have designed a variety of designs for residents. Offering options.
“We want as many people as possible to express their views on what they want to see on the playing field by participating in the quick vote.”
There are two designs each for Woodhead and Meadow Burn, while there are four options for Dwayne Crescent. The choices are made to provide interesting and challenging play equipment for children of different ages.
Votes are subject to one vote per household and the design that receives the most votes will be chosen.
Voting opens on October 4 and closes on October 17. You can view the design and choose the one you like. Here.
