Just four hours after the announcement of Ronaldo’s famous shirt-wearing, United’s online store surpassed all-time sales on a single sports site outside of North America.
The club’s online store runs Fantix, which works with more than 300 clubs and sports leagues around the world.
The first hour of the sale alone surpassed the best ever day of global sales for United Direct, the official club merchandise site.
In the Phoenix network, Ronaldo became the best-selling player in 24 hours after moving to a new club.
He surpassed PSG legend Lionel Messi, Philadelphia Fleas-based Bryce Harper in baseball, Tom Brady in American football, Tampa Bay Buckneries and LeBron James in LA Lakers in basketball. What
