Scotland According to the latest figures, more than 6,300 new cases of Covid 19 have been recorded and no deaths have been reported in the last 24 hours.
The Scottish Government has confirmed that 6,368 people have reported positive code-19 tests since last week.
This is an increase over yesterday’s 6,152 new cases.
A further 48,033 new tests were performed on the Covid 19, which yielded results. Of these, 14.2% were positive, which is more than the total positive rate of 12.9%.
In the last 24 hours, no one has died in the last 28 days who have had a positive test for Covid 19, but the Scottish Government noted that register offices are usually closed on weekends.
A total of 719 people were in the hospital, of which 61 patients are in intensive care with 19 recently confirmed CUVs.
Scottish vaccination figures now stand at 4,121,962 people who have received the first dose of the corona virus vaccine and 3,726,769 who have received the second dose.
